Highland Green is a family-friendly residential community located in Urbana, IL adjacent to a previous LBBA affordable housing project, Crystal View Townhomes. The affordable housing development offers 33 one- and two-story single-family townhomes for working families. Of the 33 units, nine are set aside as supportive housing for veterans and their families. In addition, the entire site including the apartments is completely visitable. Highland Green shares the community center at Crystal View and also provides a new playground and community gardens for residents. The development follows a sustainable model and will attain certification as a green community.
