The Overlook is the fourth phase of the Highlander Community and LBBA’s second phase for this development. Brinshore Development and Seventy Five North’s mission with the Highlander is to break the cycle of poverty and community deterioration by facilitating the creation of a healthy, sustainable, mixed-income community complete with thriving schools, recreational facilities, and other amenities that will attract new public and private investment to North Omaha.

The Highlander Community occupies what once was a 300-unit public housing development, Pleasantview Homes. The deterioration of the public housing development along with the desirable location near downtown Omaha presented an opportunity for this unique area to flourish. 

For this phase, LBBA completed 47 units (townhouses, flats, and duplexes) ranging from 1 to 5 bedrooms.
